Litigation
Litigation is the process of taking legal action, whereby proceedings are initiated by two opposing parties. The Rule of Law that underpins South Africa’s constitutional democracy determines that all people are subject to the same laws of justice. Litigation, whether civil or criminal, aims to settle disputes with objective determination. A diverse area of practice, litigation can range from a dispute between a buyer and a seller to more complex cases, for example personal injury.
