Contract Law
In its simplest form, contractual law provides the legal framework within which transactions and exchanges can take place. South African contract law provides a legal framework within which persons can transact business and exchange resources, secure in the knowledge that the law will uphold their agreements and, if the need arises, enforce them. The law of contract underpins private enterprise in South Africa and regulates it in the interest of fair dealing. Protect yourself and/or your business by addressing your rights and the obligations of another party when entering into a new or existing business relationship.
